We always recommend that items of high economic or sentimental value be removed from the home for safekeeping, for your own peace of mind. You can leave other belongings in the home as long as they are securely stored out of reach of guests and there is enough space for guests to properly set up their belongings upon arrival. We believe it is very positive for hosts to leave decorative items and personal photographs, as they help create a welcoming atmosphere.
